Northland MP Matt King is floating a member's bill which would require the criminal history of election candidates to be published, if they were convicted of a crime punishable by two or more years' jail time. What do you think? Would it change the way you vote?

What do you think about the Bay of Islands track being closed?

Far North District Council has closed part of the coastal track between Paihia and Opua for an unspecified time, due to its danger. The track is part of Te Araroa national trail. What do you think? Do you use this track?
