Concrete cutting

Bernadette from Hairini

Hi all, I’m trying to get this area prepped for a new slab, thought I could just lift the cracked concrete kerbing but some over zealous person has put 2 rods of reinforcing thru it, so if anyone can help cut thru that I’d be grateful, happy to pay something.

Knowing your neighbours is one thing, but actually spending time together is to write a much richer story together... an opportunity to have fun, learn more about each other, and recognise that the strings that connect us often run much longer than just the length of our streets.

This month is all about bringing your community together and having a great time! We want March to be all about celebrating the connections we have while making new ones along the way. As we all know, what makes a neighbourhood great isn't the houses and cars, gardens and streets - it's the people who share their presence and aroha with each other.

A wonderful way to take part is to participate in Neighbours Day Aotearoa which is celebrating it's 10th anniversary from March 22nd to 31st. To help you get started, we love their suggestions for 10 little and 10 big ways to get involved. (link below)

Let us know how you're celebrating this month by tagging us in your posts + using the following hashtag so we can see what you get up to:

**Please note**
The bolt that attaches the wheel and height adjuster has snapped off (see pics). Needs to be welded / reattached.

Couple of repair places have said it's a relativity simple fix but we've decided to just buy a new hand mower - not enough lawn to warrant a petrol one anymore.

Mower is otherwise running fine, engine and general appearance is really good nick. I've still been able to mow lawns via balancing act :-)
Also comes with catcher, mulch attachment and manual.

Pickup is from the Mount, just off Tay street.

Price: $125

Unfortunately household cleaners are only any good when the shower glass is new but they soon lose their cleaning power when contaminates clog the pores of the glass, generally you see signs within 3 months ie water staining. Also you can also run your hand down the inside of the glass, if it has changed from a smooth to rough surface, a sign contaminants are building up and glass clarity will be compromised shortly.
Also advertised DIY products are misleading, some contain silicon, which is a potential health hazard and all only give you a short term result.

ClearShield Eco-system is a seven step process and can remove all contamination – both organic and inorganic – from the glass surface, without using harsh chemicals, returning your glass surfaces to an 'as-new' appearance giving you that new glass feel again.

ClearShield, final step in the process, which is a unique polymeric resin, then seals the pores of the glass & then protects your glass. The protected glass becomes 'non-stick' and easier to clean working just like Teflon on cookware. Your shower glass is now protected from dirt, lime scale, soap scum, bacteria and the greasy fingermarks.

With an easy aftercare maintenance program, your cleaning frequency reduces by 50% and when you do clean, save up to 85% in your time and cleaning chemicals. For me this is 5 to 10 minutes/week with an annual cleaning cost of $25.

Interested, please message for more information or email clearshieldrestoreandprotect@gmail.com.

Great for our business that relies on communication for bookings. Hubbie has spent all afternoon on his cellphone trying to get things remedied. Lots of passing the buck & canned music. Little help. DON'T DO IT! Spark was annoying & often unhelpful, but at least it was the devil we knew!
