We've had these trees since early 2010. They produce lots of apples each year - but not a variety we prefer (and hard to access in our tiny garden). They are dormant now, so the perfect time to transfer.
$25 each or $40 for both. You will need to dig them out.

Not sure of breeding.
This puppy has been rescued by the Western Bay of Plenty District Council, so, like all our dogs being re homed, she will be de-sexed, her vaccinations will be up to date, she will be registered, micro chipped and treated for fleas and worms. There is an adoption fee of $220 to help cover some of these costs.
If you would like to meet this cute little girl, then please phone Shelley on 027 2911 212. I am fostering this puppy.

We finished Term 2 with a creative Matariki evening celebration, sharing kai, making crafts and lots of music learning all about Matariki. We also had a lovely trip to McLaren's Falls, rugged up warm doing some bug exploring and scavenger hunting. As adults we tend to hibernate and not want to venture out much during the colder months, but our children still love the outdoors and they embrace the weather, so getting out and about is great.
We continue to have a number of our older children embark on their next journey to school, but with this it leaves a smaller amount of members at Playcentre. We would love some new families to join us, bringing in new ideas, inspiration and fun to our centre. We have a lovely relaxed and flexible culture and enjoy the beautiful rural surroundings and large outdoor play area. If you know of new families to the area, or families with young children please pass on the word and encourage them to visit.
Upcoming trips for Term 3 include Flip Out Tramp Park, a nature walk at one of our local parks and a visit to Te Puna quarry. There are still a few places left for our 'Wonder craft fundraiser' event on Sat 12 Aug at 10am - making some awesome fairy and elf creations. Don't miss out! www.facebook.com...
Finally we are sad to be saying goodbye to our amazing Session Supervisor Jules Rutherford, after 9 years involvement in Playcentre this will be her last term with us. So we are now on the hunt for an experienced Playcentre member who has a C3 to join us to help run our Tuesday and Friday sessions. If you are interested or know of anyone please let us know.
Come and join us Pyes Pa Playcentre, Sessions run from 9:30-12:00 Tuesday and Fridays. www.facebook.com...

We had some awesome, lengthy, very in-depth discussions about what has been going on within our community from victims who were able to share their experiences, concerned neighbours who are willing and able to help whenever/wherever, and general community members.
Some of the concerns share during the evening:
- People are casing the joint
- People walking the streets at 3am??? (Who does that?)
- Whanau doing it to Whanau
- Drugs/Family violence
- Fear of own whanau
- What is petty crime and what is not?
- Egging houses
- Report/Report/Report
- Concerns over Domestic Violence
We shared contact numbers, names, addresses and emails with each other as well as being introduced to groups such as : Neighbourhood Watch, Bethlehem Community Patrol, Ngati Kahu and Ngati Hangarau Hapu members. Booklets and pamphlets on graffiti, keeping ourselves safe are available if anyone would like a copy, please contact me via this post.
Outcomes:
- Keep our eyes and ears open
- Keep ourselves safe
- Check on our neighbours regularly
- Join Neighbour Watch (Kathy & Kathy, please share contact details)
- Join Bethlehem Community Patrol (BCP.org.nz or Facebook) and/or Set up a Patrol around your area
- Keep serial numbers for personal property incase of burglary
- Our Community Constable Paul Wrigley (or Dennis Bidois and Kurt Waugh are available as well)
- If in doubt, call 111 immediately
Kia ora tatou e te whanau

PS: We didn’t set another date for another meeting, but, just say the word and it shall be done

Beautiful white and caramel coloured flemish giant rabbit. The only one left of 6. He is 9 months old and free to a caring home. I am hoping for someone who will let him run around freely. Which i can't allow him to do due to where i live.
