Hi everyone. On the way to work this morning, just coming off the bridge heading towards Maungatapu, just to the left up on the bank appears to be a small tan puppy/or dog. I'm really sorry to the owner :(

It states that driving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) on the beach is only allowed for recreational fishing and a permit is required. Access to the beach for those vehicles remains at 105-107 Karewa Parade and the ATVs can only be driven between the access point and the Kaituna River.
Rules relating to nude bathing have not been added to the Beaches Bylaw 2018, with the council saying: "Lewd behaviour is a police matter and is best managed through existing national legislation."

The annual refugee quota will lift from 1000 to 1500 by July 2020, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced this week. Before 2016 the refugee quota sat static at 750 for 30 years, well behind many other western nations. The National Government then raised it to 1000. Is it enough?
