Living for the Future children's workshop
WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN AGED 6 TO 12 WHO HAVE A PARENT OR CARER WITH A CANCER DIAGNOSIS
Children can struggle with the impact of having a loved one with cancer.
A mixture of therapy and fun, this free workshop aims to provide children with tools and resources to build resilience and coping skills around the impact of cancer on them and their family/whānau.
Held in Tauranga on 3 November, the workshop will be facilitated by Debbie Mills-Henry, a family therapist and play specialist, alongside Penny Parsons, a Cancer Society liaison nurse with a background in paediatric nursing.
