We enjoyed our Christmas lunch & the great service here so much, last year, that we have decided to return. We have asked for the same menu, but requested more dessert choice:
FIRST COURSE Tomato & Bocconcini Salad (v) Fresh tomato & bocconcini cheese salad with fresh pear, roquette leaves, balsamic dressing & garlic crouton
SECOND COURSE Manuka Smoked Champagne Ham Glazed with maple & rum served with a medley of roasted baby vegetables, crockpot mashed potato & sweet country mustard sauce
Or
Apricot & cranberry stuffed sous-vide turkey breast Apricot, Cranberry, & Rosemary stuffed Turkey, Pan Roasted and served with Roast parsnip, Caramelised shallot, Creamed Mushroom, Riesling & Veal demi Glaze
or
Ratatouille Crumble (v) Ratatouille of Mediterranean vegetables with a cheesy herb and nut topping served with creamy mashed potato and fresh garden salad

Christmas Pudding (v) Vanilla & Kawakawa Custard and Fresh berries

Shame on You!

This is what greeted workers at Brookfield Sallies yesterday morning. All of it looks like it should have gone straight to the tip, which is what the Sallies will now have to pay to do. Surely whoever does this has no conscience. The Sallies do an amazing job of helping people in times of need and they don't need to be spending any money they receive on doing your dirty work, especially at this time of year.
