Would like to swap house/dog sitting for dog boarding for 2 weeks

Kaye from Brookfield

Hi there
I am an experienced house and dog-sitter (also cats) with references. I have an opportunity to go on holiday for a couple of weeks but can't take my dog. I wonder if anyone out there would like to swap my house/dog (and optional cat!) sitting services for looking after my dog for a couple of weeks. I always house sit with my dog Barney, a laid-back 8yr old Lab cross who gets on with all dogs, from tiny to large. I am looking for someone who is home most days as Ba is used to this gets a bit bored and lonely when he's left alone for too long. Let me know if this sounds like a possibility. Text 022 034 0115 or email me on neighbourly or kaye.mclaren@gmail.com Happy to arrange a time to talk by phone or a meet and greet.

Shame on You!

Lisa from Otumoetai

This is what greeted workers at Brookfield Sallies yesterday morning. All of it looks like it should have gone straight to the tip, which is what the Sallies will now have to pay to do. Surely whoever does this has no conscience. The Sallies do an amazing job of helping people in times of need and they don't need to be spending any money they receive on doing your dirty work, especially at this time of year.
