Rail crossing barrier arms on Hewletts Road are broken and causing concerns from police. Barrier arms on Hewletts Rd, near Maunganui Rd, have been down for about an hour this morning and police are concerned for people's safety. The spokesman said KiwiRail had been advised but it was not known how long the barrier arms would be down for.
