Do you have a computer device such as a Mobil Phone, MacBook or Laptop and would like help from someone of a similar age and learn in a small class how to use different programs or apps? The Tauranga SeniorNet Clubs web page has information on what the club has to offer, how you can help, where it is and how you can contact the club. Bookings and payments must be made a week before the start of the workshop or course. When phoning the club, please leave a message including your name and number and a volunteer will get back to you.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
