My Simple Thing...

Elaine from Te Puna

Stopping in front of a nectar feeding station, whilst taking a walk and noticing at least 10 Tuis imbibing the nectar, whilst being rowdy and raucous. It was a beutiful moment in time that I had not seen before. I simply stopped, enjoyed and moved on. It really made my day. I was smiling from ear to ear with the sheer joy of what nature provides us with. It was quite wonderful, and an experience that I wont forget in a hurry.

What do you think about the opening hours of bars and restaurants in the Tauranga City Centre?

We’re proposing some changes to our Local Alcohol Policy, including a reduction in opening hours of licensed premises in the city centre with a proposed closing time of 2am instead of 3am.
