We are looking for 1-2 male or female Supportworker/ Carer , Personal assistants ( Level 2+ or similar ideally) for immediate start to do home help, outings and other in or out door tasks which may come up on a lifestyle block just out of Tauranga. The hours we are seeking to cover initially are 8am to 11am with at times extended hours as need be, Mo- Fr. to help this lady to structure her life on a daily basis. Other hours from 6pm to 10pm on some days may become available in the near future for the right person as additional hours.This is a contracted position as the lady here is covered under the National Serious Injury Services. She said all councils were struggling to weed out contaminants from recycling, a trend which kicked off during the Covid-19 alert levels when people began to clear out their properties.

In March, the council suspended recycling services to 25 properties after contamination was repeatedly found inside recycling bins.

“We are following in the steps of other councils by employing fulltime inspectors,” Braithwaite said.
