Incident near Mount Maunganui - Can you help Police?
Police have discovered the body of a 29-year-old man in a small motorboat that ran aground on the Pilot Quay shore on Saturday morning.
Police would like to speak to anyone who was on a boat in or out of Tauranga between midnight on Friday, October 4, and 8am on Saturday, October 5. They would also like to speak to people fishing in the harbour entrance or walking around the Mauao base track during the same period.
