Re: Air B n B
I have heard through the "grapevine" that our council are now considering placing a tax on anyone who does Air B n B in the Tauranga Council area like Auckland does We do Air B n B on a casual basis as we love having such diverse cultures coming to stay and we learn a lot from them but if the council do this we will have to stop as the extra charge we would have to add to our nightly fee would not be viable.
I have spoken to some of our guests and they have said if it was more expensive, they would simply go to Rotorua and leave out this area which would take a good deal of money from our local economy. does anyone else have a view either for or against?
