If it had been a split vote then they could have. Just shows how much the people we voted in care about the people of Tauranga!. The Ombudsman recommended we have a meeting with the Mayor to discuss this which I have done this morning and now wait and see if this eventuates. Geoff Latter presented a petition and had many meetings last year with various people in Council to no avail so will see if the Mayor will meet with us. It is also unacceptable that the deputy mayor has stated in the media when asked about the salaries council members now receive that "she did not believe it would cause a concern with the public" . This is unacceptable and will be addressed also. Will keep you posted and we have a comprehensive document which we will discuss with the Mayor, given we get an appointment.

Recent work out of a MIT Media Lab suggests that people who used ChatGPT have lower brain engagement than those who did not when writing their essays. While the MIT Media Lab work has driven headlines recently, others have been quick to remind us that the fear of technology is nothing new.

We want to know: Is AI an addition to the technological toolbox, or should we be having bigger conversations about the impact of AI technology?

This large foot warmer has an element (like an electric blanket) laminated between the wooden top surface and an insulated underside.) It uses about the same power as an electric blanket - about 150watts – similar to a couple of incandescent light bulbs.
180cm long x 40cm wide It has been used both as a foot warmer at a workbench and at other times under a long desk.
Heat from the foot warmers can increase blood flow, which means blood is able to circulate around the body and reach places it perhaps couldn't before. At the same time, foot warmers can help to unblock any blockages within the blood circulatory system, therefore improving blood circulation overall.
Cost over $200 about 12 years ago. Nothing to wear out.
