level 4 lockdown

Marc from Kinloch

On Friday I had the worryingly task of delivering an empty container to St Johns with 2 pick ups of fertilizer from Mount Wellington and a further pick up from the Mount.
I followed all the protocols at these premises and wore a mask and used hand sanitisers as well as scanning in.
During my trip from Taupo to Mount Wellington via Matamata and return via Matamata to the Mount and back to Taupo, I only saw 2 police cars.
Both on the Southern Motorway, 1 on the way in and 1 on the way out; just there to catch speeding motorists on an empty motorway.!!
Yet Kinloch and no doubt other holiday home areas are being flooded by Jaffa's escaping Auckland, many using the back roads to avoid the non existent road blocks.
Lets get the Army out there manning proper road blocks, their job is to protect New Zealand and we need that protection more than ever now.
And NZ Police get out there and stop everyone, you might be surprised at the number of vehicles without rego's and/or WOF's along with illegal drivers
