It's Hospice Awareness Week - why not come to our place?
It’s an open invitation! Come to Izard Hospice House and find out more about our work within the community. Tour our facilities, talk to staff and get up to date with the services we provide. We’ve opened our doors so that you can see for yourself why your community support is so vital to keep our services going. Our open house is Thursday 17th May from 10am to 4pm. We'll even have the jug on! To find out more about all our hospice awareness week activities visit our website

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
