MetService has issued a heavy rain watch for the following:
Area: Waitomo, Taumarunui, Taupo, Taranaki.
Valid: 17 hours from 8:00am Monday to 1:00am Tuesday.
Forecast: Periods of heavy rain with thunderstorms. Rainfall accumulations may approach Warning criteria.
An update for severe weather will be issued by 10:00pm Monday 12 Aug 2019.
