The first state-funded public homes to be built in Tūrangi in more than 40 years will soon welcome their new tenants, and there’s more to come.
A blessing and celebration marked the completion of 10 new homes - five on Parekarangi Gr and five on Te Wharekaihua Gr - was attended by about 100 people.
Local Ngāti Tūrangitukua representatives blessed the properties and people had the opportunity to walk through them.
