Community Health Forums are a gathering of local people who come to listen to updates from the Waikato DHB, share their thoughts and talk about what matters to them about healthcare in their community.
On the agenda this time – preparing for health services changes, Mental Health update, Southern Rural Maternity update, meet the chairperson of our Waikato Consumer Council and more.

Free Bowel Cancer Screening
In Mid Central, free bowel screening is available for Māori and Pacific people aged 50 – 74 and from 60 to 74 for everyone else.
Around your birthday, you will receive an invitation, followed by a bowel screening test kit.
The bowel screening test is quick and simple to do by yourself at home. Make sure you do the test as soon as possible and send it back.
