This photograph from Feilding-Rangitīkei Herald reader Wayne Belk was captured on State Highway 1, near Taihape. The old, abandoned home stands among sheep and cattle in a lonely paddock. Belk says he enjoys taking photographs of old buildings and posting them on community Facebook pages. "It's just something about them and the history that goes with them."
