Waimakariri District Council earmarks land for lifestyle blocks near four rural towns
Four rural areas in Waimakariri have been earmarked for residential growth as the district's population continues to increase.
Swannanoa, Oxford, Ashley/Loburn and Gressons Rd, near Waikuku, are the areas likely to get more rural residential development - or lifestyle blocks - and subsequent rezoning in the proposed district plan, which will be publicly notified from mid-2020.
