The Rangiora HS 1st XI is on target for a first innings win over Christ's College in the Canterbury Secondary Schools' two-day bowl cricket competition.
Rangiora dismissed Christ's for 133 after Henry Sail claimed 4-37 and Sam Sharp 2-22. At stumps on day one, Rangiora were 88/4 with Sail unbeaten on 40.
Their Gillette Cup match against Buller was postponed until next week.
