Kiwis for kiwi is on a mission to turn that decline around. We partner with kiwi conservation projects all over New Zealand, with a long-term vision to increase the population by 2% every year and take our national icon from endangered to everywhere.
But we need your help. Please make a donation or organise a fundraising event to make sure the kiwi sticks around for future generations.
Only 4 days left for the children to drive / operate THOMAS OR ONE OF HIS FRIENDS on our large model railway layout in our clubrooms at 13 BLAKE STREET RANGIORA. We are open from 9.30 am to 3 pm. Only 50 cents per 4 minute session.

By 8.30 am there were only 3 stall holders, we had a discussion re the very strong winds and decided that for health and safety reasons it would be better not to have the market as … View moreBIG, and, MOST SINCERE APOLOGIES, to all those visitors to the RANGIORA SUNDAY MARKET who found that it was not on. By 8.30 am there were only 3 stall holders, we had a discussion re the very strong winds and decided that for health and safety reasons it would be better not to have the market as there could be problems with gazebos lifting and goods being blown off the tables. By 9 am there were another 2 stall holders arrive and after that no more. We feel that we made the right decision under the circumstances.
The next market will be on the 18th October.
We had a busy response to our offer yesterday for free 30 minute consultations for any building queries i.e. invoicing, claims, disputes etc.. glad we could help the local community, we even had someone from 4 doors down who didn't know what we do :)

At the October 17 election, New Zealanders will have the opportunity to choose their regional spokesperson.
Through the Mixed Member Proportional (MMP) voting system, those enrolled can vote for the party they want as well as a local representative.
Why does my MP matter?
The person elected will be the voice for your region in Parliament. If you’re having trouble getting entitlements or dealing with Government departments, they can help. If your community needs funding for certain projects or activities, or there isn’t enough healthcare in the area, the elected MP can step in and help.
