In 2019, the Ministry of Education announced the co-location project for the Marlborough boys and girls colleges at the 13.2-hectare McLauchlan St site, currently occupied by the girls college and Bohally Intermediate.
The building company to deliver the long-awaited co-located colleges project has been appointed, but the time-frame and final costs are yet to be nailed down. The master planning phase will determine how the project will unfold, including how the schools will function during the multi-year construction.
