Locals are prepared to "occupy" the Kaikōura coast over ongoing rebuild works. They say they were not consulted on the rebuild which has "sterilised" their coast. What do you think of the SH1 rebuild?

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
