It's an initiative to facilitate leadership and independence in our young people.
It is also a safe place for our rangatahi to hang out and be with their peers (ages 12 to 18) in a safe environment.
The aim of Project 180 is much more than just feeding and entertaining our youths.
ITS ABOUT CHALLENGING THEM, EMPOWERING THEM AND INSPIRING THEM.
Haha, there you go I've just stumbled into the core values of Project 180. CHALLENGE, EMPOWER, INSPIRE.

Please help us by spreading the word in the community.

What you see.

The infrastructure of the CBD is past its use by date as is the SWDC.
We have to have a fresh approach.
We have to think of the people that already live here and we have to encourage them to stay.
Some how we have to encourage people with intelligence and vision into our local administrative body, not just people who would like to move on up ,and move on out.
How we do this I don’t know, but I do know we have not been blessed for a long time with a SWDC chief executive who REARLY cares or has any rapour with our district, and I suspect with his staff.
Let’s hope fate smiles upon us this time and we find someone with empathy and ambition for the SOUTH WAIKATO and in particular Tokoroa.
Fingers Crossed.

Hi South Waikato
Communication is such an important aspect of life, since we are all very social creatures, being better communicators means that we can express ourselves better, we create better first impressions and approach social situations with confidence, even at that job interview, that is why I believe that Toastmasters has so much benefit to offer the community and that is why we are working so hard to reform the Tokoroa club, Toastmasters is the fun way to self improvement and it is great way to meet new people, we would like to see more guests at our next demo meeting on the 20 September at the Tokoroa club 7pm everyone is welcome, we also have a facebook page @Tokoroa Forestlands Toastmasters

Social climbers - the comedy - is touring NZ!

Roger Halls Sparkling Comedy Social Climbers

What do you call six women stranded on a mountain in the rain: ridiculous! Or you could call them social climbers … but just not to their faces! Once at the hut, not only do they unload their packs full of food, wine, and a souvenir rock; their hang-ups get unloaded as well.

What do you call six women stranded on a mountain in the rain: ridiculous! Or you could call them social climbers … but just not to their faces! Once at the hut, not only do they unload their packs full of food, wine, and a souvenir rock; their hang-ups get unloaded as well.

Torrential rain and a flooded bridge keep them stranded for three days. What they get up to, to help pass the time, raises a few eyebrows and will have you laughing, tearing up and applauding enthusiastically as they bare all.

Of course, it’s not just souls that are exposed, there’s a little nudity, a cracking thunderstorm, explosions, screaming bloody murder, ghostly stories, a birthday celebration, a séance, a drunken party, confessions, meltdowns and revelations that will keep you and your friends entertained throughout.

Perfectly timed for your own social group’s ascent into summer, don’t miss this hilarious play when it comes to a town near you in November.
