Rural Shed Burglaries
Since the beginning of August there have been a number of rural shed burglaries in the Mamaku/Hamurana area. Timings for them are both day and night. Items stolen include general farm items such as chainsaws, spray equipment, wet weather gear etc.
It is recommended that all out buildings, rural and urban, are kept secure when left unattended.
If anyone sees anything suspicious, person or vehicle, please report it to the Police immediately on 111.
Poll: Would you want an unconventional funeral?
Funerals can cost as much as $22,000 and the planning can be stressful especially at a time when loved ones are grieving. Some New Zealanders are re-imagining funerals by making their own coffin or having a relaxed ceremony at home. Would you want a less traditional funeral? Share your thoughts below.
