MetService has issued a heavy rain watch for the following:
Area: Bay of Plenty, especially about the eastern ranges.
Valid: 18 hours from 7:00am Friday to 1:00am Saturday.
Forecast: Periods of heavy rain are expected during this time, and rainfall amounts may approach warning criteria.
An update for severe weather will be issued by 10:00pm Thursday 10 Oct 2019.
Scam Alert: Fake information regarding December Bonuses from MSD
The Ministry of Social Development is reporting that fake information is circulating about new ‘December bonuses’ or ‘benefit increases’
