Something that I have noticed lately and I am really enjoying is the number of new people moving into Ngongotaha and what they are bringing to our Village.
In my voluntary work at the 'Home' Ngongotaha Life Memories we have been welcoming more and more people lately, who have just recently moved here.
Guess what they really love about Ngongotaha !
They love the feeling of Ngongotaha, the atmosphere, friendly people, and the various greetings that they receive; Kia ora, hi there, the smiles and friendliness that is shared in 'Our Place'.
One young couple who have only been living here for six weeks told me this " when we come home from working in Rotorua each day, we feel like we are on holiday when we get home...it is really different. The weight of working lifts from us"
