Facility Manager / Owner from Lara Lodge Care Home

We have claimed an area of Reserve behind Lara Lodge, where Rats, Stoats & Possums are targeted.
Let`s encourage native bird life to thrive and predators to be hunted.
Yes, the old Boy Scout & friends are active, of cause this is not gender exclusive.
All done within recommended guidelines, with education and conservation in mind.
A great Neighborliness initiative!

Backyard trapping
If you live on a suburban section, you’ll probably only need to target rats.
However, if you live on a lifestyle block or a section that is near a bush reserve or is near the coast, rats, stoats and possums are likely to be present and you’ll need bigger traps.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
