Finches? Quail? Budgies? (Oh my!)
I would very much like some small birds for our covered outdoor garden - partly for their company, but mostly to help control the bug population.
I've had store-bought finches, and greatly enjoyed them, but they were completely cage raised, and barely knew about flying, let alone eating things that move! (Poor darlings!)
I don't necessarily need a breeding pair, but I do want a social group - whatever works for the specific breed.
(And, I'm not expecting them to be free)
If you have anything that might work, please let me know?
