Under the eves and against a wall of the house on the sunny side is ideal. Once established, they fruit prolifically and then less so in their old age, so best replaced every 6-7 years. All proceeds goes to charity (Linwood Resource Centre, which do a ton of good work). One pot has extra smaller plant so asking $11 for that pot.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
