This year, Tuesday 19 September, will mark 130 years of women holding the right to vote in Aotearoa New Zealand.
To celebrate this, we are holding a special open day at the Nelson Women’s Centre from 10am - 4pm.

Whether you are a regular at the centre, or have never been before, we warmly invite you to come on down and join us.
All women and non-binary are welcome throughout the Open Day.

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
