Poll: Yay or nay to tourist fees? ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’ฐ

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Kiwis love tourism ... it brings in cash and connection. But with more visitors comes more pressure on our beautiful places, housing, and local infrastructure.

So whatโ€™s the fix? Should we bring in a tourism tax or focus on spreading visitors beyond the hotspots to ease the load? ๐Ÿ‘‡

Interested in what kiwis have to say? Andrea Vance shares some opinions in the Post.

Ron from Fairhall - Renwick - Woodbourne

SharpAs Tool Tips
Iโ€™ll be at todayโ€™s Marlborough Farmers' Market from 3โ€“6pm โ€” a great last chance to get your knives sharpened before a busy Christmas Day.
If you have knives, tools, or other items that need sharpening, come along to the special Farmersโ€™ Market today.

Please note: aside from the statutory days, Iโ€™ll still be open.
Cheers,
Ron

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens arenโ€™t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days โ€” the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, whoโ€™s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
