It's gala season. School gala, that is. The school fair is definitely a day loved by children, but can the same be said for parents, roped in to man the sausage sizzle or silent auction. Are time-poor parents opting to donate money rather than hours these days. What are your experiences of the annual school fete?

If you have knives, tools, or other items that need sharpening, come along to the special Farmers’ Market today.
