How many lambs was that????
Texal ewe Fatty, because she's a bit fat, gave birth to five lambs at her farm in Marlborough's Waihopai Valley, about 35 kilometres west of Blenheim, last month.
This was off the back of six lambs in 2016, five lambs in 2013 and 2014, and a run of four lambs every year from 2009 to 2012. Plus one her first time round.
Does this make 'freaky' Fatty the most fecund sheep in NZ?
