Can you - patch a bike tyre/ do basic bike maintenance? - knit, crochet, felt, spin, weave ? - make bread, cheese, soup, preserves? - make your own cleaning products? - make play dough, slime?Do you have - food foraging skills - handy home maintenance skills? - tips for making healthy economic meals? - budgeting advice? - gardening skills eg pruning, composting..?Are you a not for profit organisation wanting to promote yourselves?Are you a local business with a natural environmentally friendly ethos?We are looking for local businesses, individuals or groups to have a stand or join a collective of others with a similar theme eg wool craft. A kitchen is also available to demonstrate cooking skills. Stall sites - free for not for profit groups. - businesses are asked to donate something towards the event. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
