It Takes A Village started as a Pay it forward page on Facebook, 12 months later there are now 15,000 members who regularly pay forward items, list wanted posts and interact with each other providing advice.
There is a gap in the local community for a support network for low — middle income families in need. The page also gathers donations for baby and toddler bundles

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
