LOST BUDGIE 😄

Renee N from Pukekohe

SHARED:

Please people please look out for this budgie of mine. He’s escaped from the aviary this afternoon from ward street in Pukekohe. They are not able to survive in the wild for long and specially in this weather 😄 Iam devastated. Last March he had a stroke and he was in and out of the vets and I fed and gave him medication 24/7 every hour. He is quite fragile still but was doing really well. Pls if you hear a budgie chirping outside or see him, catch him and pls let me know ASAP 😄😄

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
