Do you have a passion for fitness and a heart for helping others? ChangeMakers, a community-focused organisation dedicated to empowering refugee women, is looking for a volunteer to lead our women’s fitness group in Cannons Creek, Porirua during school terms. This group has been specifically set up for women from refugee backgrounds who wanted a safe space to enjoy weekly exercise. This is your chance to inspire and support women as they integrate into a new community, gain confidence, and improve their physical health. Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
