Urgent cat fosters needed!
Hi, Laura here from Found-a-feline cat rescues, I am desperatly looking for cat loving patient people with a spare room to help Foster cats & kittens during their time in my care till they are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped ect ready for adoptions. Some are very shy n timid, some are crazy full on young kittens, your own pets OK as the Foster cats will require being in a secure room away from your own fur family, for the duration of their stay. Having well behaved kids that can respect they also need their alone quiet times aswell as playtime can be a bonus for the younger ones requiring care. Please get in touch ASAP to discuss furthur, tonight I am in urgent need of a spare room at the least for an amazing found cat that's super friendly who needs to get out of create currently having to be in while awaits us to find his family. Super snuggly n loving, just needs somewhere to stretch his legs n have some loving while he waits.
If you think you or someone you may know will be great for this, please get in touch with me ASAP :)

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
Be prepared for upcoming roadworks
SH1 Transmission Gully works until mid-February, weather permitting.
There’s no roadworks for the holiday break from Friday 19 December, and all lanes will be fully open. Contractors are back to work on Monday 5 January, at night. Plan ahead for lane closures, night-time road closures and speed restrictions until mid-February. When the highway is closed, detours are via State Highway 59 and State Highway 58.
Chip-seal works begin in early January, so drivers must do 30km/h to prevent flying chip that can damage vehicles.
