Operation of kitchen facilities - Expression of Interest

Paremata Plimmerton Rugby

We want to invite you to submit your expressions of interest (EOI) in the lease and management and operation of our kitchen located at Ngati Toa Domain, 3 Pascoe Ave Mana.

We are looking for an enterprising person/ persons to take up the challenge of providing cafe and catering services as required for a 12 month period. The clubroom has just had a major upgrade and is available to hire for various events during the day or evening along with the Rugby Seasons that kicks off March - Sept each year.

Expression of interest should include full details of your relevant experience in the industry, ability to cater for large numbers of patrons, and the flexibility to cover events outside of normal hours.

You will report to the Operations Manager of the Club and would be expected to think outside the square for opportunities that could bring into the club for catering.

Upon Receipt of the EOI interested parties will be interviewed early March 2021.

Address your EOI to the secretary@pareplimrugby.co.nz by 5pm Thursday 4th March 2021.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!

Be prepared for upcoming roadworks

NZ Transport Agency (NZTA)

SH1 Transmission Gully works until mid-February, weather permitting.

There’s no roadworks for the holiday break from Friday 19 December, and all lanes will be fully open. Contractors are back to work on Monday 5 January, at night. Plan ahead for lane closures, night-time road closures and speed restrictions until mid-February. When the highway is closed, detours are via State Highway 59 and State Highway 58.
Chip-seal works begin in early January, so drivers must do 30km/h to prevent flying chip that can damage vehicles.
