Announcing that Marcus Jackson from Melbourne will be having a show at the New Lynn RSA on Sunday 24th February starting at 6pm. Tickets on sale at RSA or book through Jackie 8174892 or 0274901126 cost only $15. If you have not yet seen Marcus then you have missed one of the most energetic Elvis ETAs around. The RSA will have their Restaurant open for us and a special Buffet will be available form 4.30pm at a cost of $20pp. Please let me know if you will be eating as the Caterer would like an idea of numbers coming. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
