Hi everyone, I am looking for help to spread the word on the risks of surgical mesh. An Australian inquiry has found that "mesh should only be used as a last resort" due to the severe complications experienced by some women, and has recommended a range of actions. We need the NZ government to follow suite. There have been lots of promises, but no action. Please read and share the article. And if you, or someone you know, is mesh-injured they can find support in the Mesh Down Under closed FB support group. And/or come and share a coffee at a monthly coffee group.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
