Networking and mini training next Wednesday
Calling all managers and leaders of volunteers: our first MoVERS* meeting of the year is on next Wednesday at 12 noon.
This month, we'll be having a chat about recruiting volunteers - how we do it, why it matters how we do it, how to craft eye catching role descriptions, and the use of social media.
This event will take place ONLINE and is open to all managers, leaders, and coordinators of volunteers. Please feel free to enjoy your lunch during the meeting; we know you're all very busy!
Event will be held VIA ZOOM; a link will be sent out to people who have registered.
* MoVERS = Managers of Volunteers - Education, Resources, Support.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
