Marlborough's first rugby pitch-sized dog park will be opening on September 1st. Will you be taking your pup?
If successful, more parks could be opening to accommodate for the 10, 000 dogs in Marlborough, with the park having separate areas for different sized dogs. It'll have weave poles, tunnels, hurdles and a balance beam, plus water bowls and waste bins.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
