Road closures | Kent Street/South Terrace (new rail bridge coming!)
Kia ora Picton neighbours! We're replacing the old Kent Road rail bridge with a sparklie new one to keep the rail network running smoothly. The area around Kent Road/South Terrace will be closed to vehicles between 2pm Sunday 23 June and 11:30am Monday 24 June while we install four large precast panels, and between 4am Sunday 30 June and 2pm Monday 1 July while we replace the bridge. There will still be pedestrian access. Please follow the detours and accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
