Get snapping!
We want you to SNAP-A-BRUSHER!
Take a photo of your child, or children, brushing their teeth and go in the draw to win a family oral health basket.*
We’d also like to hear what your kids say when you ask them ‘Why do we brush our teeth?’
Write down their answers and send in your photos to Heidi.Owers@nmdhb.govt.nz and you are in the draw.
We’ll put the photos in some decorative frames and put them up on our clinic waiting room walls (you can let us know if you don’t want them displayed).
When the competition is over you will still be able to find your child’s photo and see how they have changed over time.
* Open to families enrolled at the community oral health clinic
Festive Farmers' Market Christmas Market
SharpAs Tool Tips
I’ll be at today’s Marlborough Farmers' Market from 3–6pm — a great last chance to get your knives sharpened before a busy Christmas Day.
If you have knives, tools, or other items that need sharpening, come along to the special Farmers’ Market today.
Please note: aside from the statutory days, I’ll still be open.
Cheers,
Ron
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
