Passchendaele WWI Presentation

The Marlborough Historical Society presents the final Sunday Series event of 2017!
Join us at the Marlborough Convention Centre at 2 p.m. on the 24th of September to hear John Crawford revisit the battle of Passchendaele.
John Crawford is the New Zealand Defence Force Historian and has written on many aspects of the history of New Zealand Armed Forces and defence policy.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
