Walker follows dangerous, damaged track to Cathedral Cove
A walker who used a hazardous, closed track to Cathedral Cove shared their experience on it online, saying it was “not easy”.
It’s concerned Department of Conservation leaders, who have repeatedly warned people to stay off the cyclone-damaged track that was closed due to landfall risk.
“We do not want people to get hurt, it’s really that simple,” said Coromandel operations manager Nick Kelly.
